Can it rust?

High quality stainless steel does not rust, but it can have rust stains that are easily cleaned. The main reasons for rust stains are:

a) The bottle does not dry out between uses
b) The bottle is used at the beach with salt water (or other place with salt water) and is not cleaned afterwards.
