BottlePro uses ultra-advanced 4-stage microfiltration technology with activated carbon.
The replacement consists of a disc of activated carbon and absorbs chemicals, gases, metals and organics due to its microscopic structure and highly porous surface.
As the water passes through the filter, all contaminants are retained by the activated carbon. The result is clean, filtered water that is ready to drink.
- Filtration rate: 1L/min
- Filtering capacity of one refill: 150 L for 2.5 L/day
- Density of activated carbon fibers: 1-2 µm
- Removed items: +80
Filling time: It is recommended to fill it every 2 months in order not to lose filtration efficiency. From where? The replacements are made of activated carbon fibers, a material of organic origin that can be a breeding ground for microorganisms that can lead to the proliferation of bacteria over time. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and pollute the water. Additionally, filtered lime will eventually reduce the water flow rate depending on the hardness of the original water. On the other hand, our refills are environmentally friendly because once used, they can be recycled as follows:
1. Open the spare part to separate the activated carbon and the plastic covering the spare part.
2. All plastic should go into the yellow bin, activated carbon block into the gray bin.
Usage recommendation:
- Before first use: Wash the filter with water for 30-60 seconds.
- When the bottle is full, suck out the water with a straw.
- Works best when upright or tilted up to 45 degrees.
Cleaning the bottle: Ideally you should clean your water bottle every week. The two recommended ways are (remove the cap and filter before cleaning):
1. White vinegar: Vinegar is a great natural cleaning agent that will help you disinfect and sanitize your bottle. Fill with equal parts water and vinegar. Close the cap (without filter) and shake the bottle well to stir the mixture. Leave it on overnight and rinse with warm water the next day.
2. Baking soda: Using baking soda is another excellent way to get rid of dirt and bacteria that may have accumulated inside. Put a teaspoon of baking soda into the bottle. Fill the rest with water. Rub the inside of the lid with the baking soda solution as well. Leave the bottle overnight and rinse with water the next morning.
You may also want to purchase a water bottle brush to make cleaning easier.
You can choose between an annual subscription or a one-time purchase that automatically renews each year.
